Omneo Wallet (powered by Omneo Pass) enables brands to issue digital loyalty cards to customers’ Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. This gives customers instant access to their loyalty barcode directly from their phone’s lock screen, without opening an app or website.

What Omneo Pass provides

  • Digital loyalty card: a branded pass containing the customer’s loyalty barcode
  • Lock screen access: customers can present their barcode directly from Apple or Google Wallet at POS
  • Real-time updates: pass data (reward balance, tier, name) can be updated in real time
  • Push notifications: wallet passes can receive notifications (e.g., “Your reward expires in 7 days!”)
  • Location-based triggers: passes can surface notifications when a customer is near a store

Pass content

A typical Omneo loyalty pass includes:
  • Customer name
  • Loyalty card barcode (for in-store scanning)
  • Current reward balance
  • Current tier status
  • Brand logo and colours

How customers get their pass

  1. Customer accesses Profile Portal (via email link or app)
  2. They tap “Add to Wallet” on the loyalty card section
  3. The pass is added to their Apple or Google Wallet
  4. Future updates (balance changes, tier upgrades) are pushed automatically

Technical setup

Omneo Pass handles the Apple Wallet (PKPass) and Google Wallet (JWT-based) certificate management, pass template configuration, and push notification infrastructure. Brands provide their branding assets (logo, colours) and the pass template is configured by the Omneo team.
