What Omneo Pass provides
- Digital loyalty card: a branded pass containing the customer’s loyalty barcode
- Lock screen access: customers can present their barcode directly from Apple or Google Wallet at POS
- Real-time updates: pass data (reward balance, tier, name) can be updated in real time
- Push notifications: wallet passes can receive notifications (e.g., “Your reward expires in 7 days!”)
- Location-based triggers: passes can surface notifications when a customer is near a store
Pass content
A typical Omneo loyalty pass includes:- Customer name
- Loyalty card barcode (for in-store scanning)
- Current reward balance
- Current tier status
- Brand logo and colours
How customers get their pass
- Customer accesses Profile Portal (via email link or app)
- They tap “Add to Wallet” on the loyalty card section
- The pass is added to their Apple or Google Wallet
- Future updates (balance changes, tier upgrades) are pushed automatically
Technical setup
Omneo Pass handles the Apple Wallet (PKPass) and Google Wallet (JWT-based) certificate management, pass template configuration, and push notification infrastructure.
