What eCommerce extensions do

The Shopify Proxy

The Omneo CX Shopify app exposes an authenticated proxy that issues short-lived, customer-scoped ID Proxy tokens to Liquid themes and App UI Extensions. This lets storefront code call the Omneo SDK without exposing a long-lived API key. See Shopify Authentication for setup details.
