How to create a single view of customer with Omneo Profiles and Identities
Profile identities is the term we use to describe the set of 'external IDs' associated with a profile. An 'external ID' is the unique primary identity that represents the customer on that specific platform.
Someone's Shopify ID, Staff number, loyalty card number, Klaviyo ID, mobile device ID, or instagram handle are all examples of profile identities.
Identities/handles allow customers who are 'logged in' to any Omneo powered experience to:
- leverage their data stored in other platforms
- interact with functionality provided by a platform's API
