Profile Portal is the customer-facing web app where members can view and manage their own Omneo profile. It is a standalone white-label application — not embedded in your eCommerce platform or any specific technology stack.

What customers can do in Profile Portal

  • View their current tier and progress
  • Check their reward balance and transaction history
  • View and redeem available benefits
  • Update their personal details (name, email, phone, address, DOB)
  • Manage their comms preferences (opt in/out per channel and category)
  • View their wishlist
  • Send referral invites (if configured)

What Profile Portal is not

Profile Portal is not a Shopify embed or a native element of your eCommerce platform. It is an independent web app hosted on Omneo infrastructure and accessed via a unique URL for your tenant:
https://{tenant}.profile.omneo.io
It can be linked from your eCommerce site, emails, and any other channel, but it operates independently.

Customisation

Profile Portal can be white-labelled with your brand colours, logo, and font. Custom domain configuration (e.g., account.yourbrand.com) is also available.

Authentication

Customers access Profile Portal via a magic link (passwordless email authentication) or by logging in with their email and a password if they have set one. The portal generates a profile-scoped session — customers can only see and edit their own data.

Comms preference centre

Profile Portal includes a comms preference centre where customers can manage their opt-in/opt-out status for each channel (email, SMS, push) and category (promotional, reminders, benefits, etc.). These preferences sync to Omneo’s profile attributes in real time.
Content needed: Profile Portal configuration options available in CX Manager, custom domain setup process, and feature flags for enabling/disabling specific sections.
