Signed-in pages
These pages need a signed-in customer. A signed-out customer sees a sign-in prompt, and after signing in returns to the page they asked for.
Every path exists for every brand. Your Profile Portal configuration controls which pages appear in the menu and on the home screen, not which paths resolve.
Sign-in and public pages
These pages do not need a signed-in customer.Appointments
The Profile Portal books, cancels and changes Appointments. Both pages are available when appointments are enabled for your Profile Portal.
Add the Profile’s id to open a
/bookings page without signing in, for example from a confirmation or reminder email. The Profile Portal only shows the appointment when it belongs to that Profile. Without it, a signed-out visitor signs in first and then returns to the same page, action included.
The parameter name depends on where your Profile Portal is hosted:
When an appointment can be changed or cancelled
- The appointment is
requestedorconfirmed, and has not started. - It starts later than the Definition’s
min_lead_minutesfrom now. Inside that window the page shows the appointment without the buttons and asks the Profile to contact you. - Changing also needs the Definition to still accept customer bookings (published, not archived,
allow_customer_bookingon, not walk-in only). Otherwise only cancelling is offered.
confirmed appointment on an approval_required Definition is changed, it goes back to requested so your team can confirm the new time. Cancelling sets the status to cancelled, which sends the Definition’s cancelled notification.
Lists
The lists pages show a customer’s product lists and let them remove items. Customers cannot add items or share a list from the Profile Portal. Adding items and sharing happen on your own site through the Lists API. See Shopify Lists for a storefront example. To open a customer’s wishlist directly, link to/lists, or to /lists/{list_id} when you know the list’s id.
Opening a path from Shopify
The Profile Portal theme extension opens any of these paths in its portal dialog:/login instead of the requested path, unless you pass force: true.
