The Omneo BigCommerce extension connects BigCommerce to Omneo for profile sync, order sync, product sync, and reward redemption at checkout.

  • Profile sync: BigCommerce customer to Omneo profile on create/update
  • Order sync: BigCommerce order to Omneo transaction when the configured status is reached (e.g. Completed or Shipped)
  • Product sync: BigCommerce catalogue to Omneo
  • Reward balance display and redemption at BigCommerce checkout

Profile resolution

BigCommerce customers are linked to Omneo profiles via the bigcommerce identity handle.

Reward redemption

The checkout integration uses BigCommerce Scripts Manager or Stencil theme to inject the Omneo reward balance UI. A BigCommerce coupon or custom discount is applied on redemption and the redemption_id is recorded.
