The Interactions API records and retrieves customer engagement events: logins, page and product views, form submissions, and other touchpoints that do not involve a transaction. Use these endpoints for integration work or bulk reporting across all profiles. For what an interaction is and when to use one, see Interactions.
When creating, reading, editing, or deleting interactions for a specific customer, use Profile Interactions instead. The profile-scoped route is designed for building customer-facing experiences and loyalty UIs.
