The Omneo Zendesk plugin surfaces Omneo customer data (incentive balances, tier, recent transactions) in the Zendesk ticket sidebar. It syncs customer profiles between platforms when tickets are created or updated, and creates Omneo interactions from Zendesk ticket events. Once installed, Omneo profiles are linked to Zendesk customer records via the zendesk identity handle.

Prerequisites

From Omneo:
  • Omneo domain (e.g. acme)
  • An API token with scopes: create-webhooks, delete-webhooks, read-tenants, update-tenants, update-profiles, create-interactions
  • Omneo shared secret
From Zendesk:
  • Zendesk subdomain
  • A dedicated Zendesk user account for the integration
  • Zendesk API token for that account
  • A shared secret (defined during installation)
