# Adobe Commerce

> The Omneo Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) extension connects your store to Omneo for profile sync, transaction recording, and reward redemption at checkout.

The Omneo Adobe Commerce extension connects Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce to Omneo, enabling profile sync, transaction recording, product sync, and reward redemption at checkout.

## What the extension covers

* Profile sync: Magento customer to Omneo profile on account create/update
* Transaction sync: Magento order to Omneo transaction at the `complete` order state
* Product sync: Magento catalogue to Omneo
* Reward balance display and redemption at checkout
* Customer identification using the `magento_id` identity handle

## Profile resolution

Customers are matched using the `magento_id` identity handle. On first sync, the extension searches Omneo for a profile with a matching email. If found, the Magento customer ID is added as an identity. If not found, a new profile is created.

## Reward redemption

The checkout integration queries the customer's Omneo reward balance and renders a redemption component. A custom price adjustment is applied to the Magento quote and the `redemption_id` is stored for reconciliation.
