# eCommerce Extensions

> How Omneo integrates with Shopify, SFCC, Magento, BigCommerce, and other eCommerce platforms.

Omneo integrates with the leading retail eCommerce platforms to capture customer sign-ups, attribute transactions, and power on-site profile experiences.

## Supported platforms

## What eCommerce extensions do

* **Customer acquisition**: capture new profiles when a customer creates an account or checks out
* **Transaction attribution**: push completed orders to Omneo as transactions, triggering points and reactions
* **Incentive redemption**: surface reward and benefit balances at checkout for redemption
* **Authentication**: authenticate known customers on the storefront via Shopify Proxy or SFCC proxy
* **Profile sync**: keep contact details and preferences in sync between Omneo and the eCommerce platform

## The Shopify Proxy

The Omneo CX Shopify app exposes an authenticated proxy that issues short-lived, customer-scoped ID Proxy tokens to Liquid themes and App UI Extensions. This lets storefront code call the Omneo SDK without exposing a long-lived API key.
